WT: Topaz The Hedgehog VS Smash The Echidna (Winner: Smash The Echidna)

Indeed he was. Smash always loved a good fight. He took a step back, bracing himself. Still grinning, He was ready for anything he could dish out.

Leaving a cloud of dust in his wake, Topaz blasted forward with incredible speeds, holding his fiery hand forward.

A few ideas of how to counter it came to mind, but he settled with the first one. He stayed put, ready to take the attack full on.

Topaz reached Smash in less than a second, his burning fist colliding with Smash's stomach. He grinned as he skidded to a stop, not want to drag Smash too far.

Smash caught his arm, preventing it from dealing too much damage. He threw himself backwards in the process, yanking him over to bring him down with him. He immediately followed up with a powerful twin kick to his stomach.

Topaz was thrown backwards by the kick, but landed on his hands and backflipped to his feet.
Come on, Smash! I wasn't even going full speed. You can do better than that.

Smash stood up and dusted himself off. "Of course I can do better." He said, flatly. "Heck, the only thing I was worried about was you barfing on my face after that kick."

In a taunting way, Topaz stroked the bottom of his nose with his index finger.
That's more like it. Now... show me "better".

"You first." He said, grinning slightly. He motioned for him to come at him again.

Heh, if you insist. Here's a trick I picked up from an old... aquaintance of mine.
Topaz started to run circles around the edge of the ring, picking up speed with each lap. In a matter of moments, he had reached a speed high enough to create a trail of afterimages spanning the entire circle. They moved so fast that they appeared to be running in place.
