WT: Topaz The Hedgehog VS Smash The Echidna (Winner: Smash The Echidna)

He managed to strike Smash successfully, but he seemed to go along with the downward momentum as well by quickly flipping in the air and landing on top of the steel ball on his feet instead of his hands. He threw a hard punch towards his face, and followed up with another one directed towards his shoulder.

Topaz was stunned by Smash's lightning quick reflexes, and took both punches hard. He fell backwards, but took his weapon with him, so hopefully it would have brought Smash down as well. He flipped back up to his feet and chuckled as he caressed his cheek.
Heh, that wasn't so bad. You're holding back, aren't you?

Smash was thrown forward, but managed to land on his hands and flip to his feet. He turned around to look at him and flicked his thumb past his nose with a grin. "You people never give me a break when it comes to my strength." He joked.

Hey, I'm just going by what people tell me. You've got to decide whether or not to prove them right.
Topaz smirked and dash forward again, but this time he did things differently. He crouched down and sidestepped upon reaching Smash, and dealt an uppercut with his weapon, not caring if it hit him in the chest or chin.

Smash bent backwards quickly, a little too quickly. He fell over onto his back, the ball completely missing him. The landing kind of hurt against the hard floor, but he didn't waste any time to try and sweep kick his legs and knock him off his feet.

Smash was indeed swift, but also predictable. As soon as he saw Smash fall, Topaz knew several things could come next, all of which involved low shots. He hopped up into the air and came down hard, dealing a blow to Smash chest with his knee.

Smash figured he wouldn't go down so easily. He held his hands up and caught his knee. He knew he couldn't hold him in this position long at all. Without wasting another moment, He hurled him over his head while dealing a kick to his back to launch him forward.

Not good!
Topaz hit the ground hard and rolled forward, coming to a stop upright. He stood up as Smash most likely did the same and cracked his back.
I am getting too old for this. 30 is the new 50, I guess.
((Think I'm gonna pack it in for the night. I'll be ready to pick it up again tomorrow if you are.))

Smash sprung back to his feet and whirled around to see if Topaz was about to come at him again. He loosened up a bit when he realized that he was just getting himself together at the same time he was.

Topaz turned back around to face Smash and sealed his weapon back in its storage ring.
You know, I've kept hearing you were quite the fighter, but I've never really witnessed it myself. Now, experiencing it first hand... I'm gonna have to try a lot harder.
He casually put the ring back into the pocket he got it from and pulled out another from a different pocket; this one he slipped onto his wrist. With a grin across his face he mimicked Smash first gesture to attack.
