WT: Topaz The Hedgehog VS Smash The Echidna (Winner: Smash The Echidna)

Hm. He's got something up his sleeve. He thought. Brace yourself. He then charged at him, surprisingly quickly. He appeared to be ready to run him over.

Heh, just as I though.
As Smash charged forward with force of a bull, Topaz reered his arm back and balled up a fist.
Fire barrier, activate!
The ring on his wrist flashed and he threw a punch shrouded in a ball of flame, ready to meet Smash's face.

I knew it. He thought after seeing him preparing his attack. As he threw his fist towards him, Smash leaped up into the air, performing a flip over his head. He clenched both of his fists together and attempted to bash him against the back of his head in the process.

Topaz received the hit hard and rolled forward across the ground. He managed to quickly regain himself and turn around, pulling out another ring and throwing it towards Smash in one quick move.
Thunder barrier, activate!
The ring exploded with electricity as it flew, headed towards Smash like a spinning bolt of lightning.

Smash landed and turned around quickly. His eyes widened with shock as he saw the spinning bolt coming towards him. He had no time to dodge, and instinctively tried to bat it back at him.

Smash's attempt was partially successful. Contact with the ring sent an initial shock through his body but it was deflected, flying high into the air. Topaz reacted immediately with a mighty leap. He jumped high above the ring, ready to intercept it with yet another.
Water barrier, activate!
He tossed this third ring towards the oncoming electrified ring and stomped it down with both feet. The force shot the bubble of water downward, even faster than the ring it was headed for and the two collided, rocketing the electrified ring back down towards Smash.

He felt a tad stunned from the sudden jolt in his body, but quickly recovered. He looked up at the new attack coming towards him. This time he saw it coming. Immediately he began to focus his energy, his body slightly glowing. Right when it looked like the ring was going to hit him, "URRGHIII!!" He released a blast of energy, and held his hands out forward as a skyblue aura surrounded him. He forced his energy outward, blowing the ring away as if it were shot out of a cannon.

This time the ring went nowhere, and insted fell to the ground in two pieces. Topaz landed on the ground and caught the water ring, sliding it onto his other wrist.
I have to pay for those, you know.

Smash's aura diminished, and he looked up at him with a grin. "Shouldn't throw your toys around like that." He taunted.

What's the matter? You don't want to play?
It was clear that Smash was enjoying this, and Topaz was as well. He hadn't had a fight this challenging that he could actually enjoy in a long time. He kicked his heels and crouched down, ready to dash forward.
