WT: Topaz The Hedgehog VS Smash The Echidna (Winner: Smash The Echidna)

"Dang..!" Smash said quietly, He reverted back to his normal form, panting heavily. This isn't good. He thought. Now the ONLY way I'll be able to beat him is through a ringout! He took a few steps back, unsure of how to counter this turn of events. I thought I had him...I could have had him...NOW what!?

Topaz inched forward, still weakened from the Chaos Protect. With the same speed as his earlier, mid-air strike, he dashed towards Smash and placed his right hand on Smash's chest. The eight flames had centered around his hand at this point, but it did nothing... untill he muttered two words.
Jewel Flare.
Like the Gem Flash attack before, the flames shot from his hand like bullets. Unless Smash acted fast, they would hit him at point-blank range.

Smash dropped to the ground, right as he heard him begin to utter the two words which would have blown him halfway across the ring. He felt the flames graze him as he fell, but none did any serious damage. He landed on his back, and normally would have kicked him by now, but he didn't. He lay there, panting heavily.

Topaz quickly called back his flames, and wasted not another second. The flames centered on his hand once more as he knealt down, dealing a powerful punch to Smash's chest.

Smash just barely managed to catch the punch. The flames were burning up his hands as he held his fist. Still feeling out of it, he merely yanked him over, trying to flip him to the ground past his head.

Unable to resist the force completely, Topaz fell forward. As he fell, however, he brought his leg up and tried to knee Smash in the stomach. He wasn't going down without a fight.

Smash wasn't able to avoid the blow. He coughed and groaned in pain from the blow. Ugh...n-not good... He thought. He struggled to try and stand up.

Topaz did the same, but acted quickly. He forced himself away from Smash, as far as possible without leaving the ring, and lanched himself forward in an attempt to ram Smash back to the ground.

Smash turned to see him rocketing forward. With that much speed, he might knock him out, if not out of the ring. Smash threw himself back to the ground, rolling away from the attack. He looked back, hoping to see him unable to stop himself from flying out of the ring.

Topaz flew far past Smash and didn't stop, but he didn't leave the ring either. As if at the last moment, he pulled up, flying high into the air. He began to spin as he flew into a full sommersalt, ending up flying downward atop Smash like a drill of power.
