WT: Topaz The Hedgehog VS Smash The Echidna (Winner: Smash The Echidna)

Smash flicked his thumb past his nose. He felt a slight boost of confidence in that moment. "Heh. Then Bring it!"

With great gusto, Topaz charged forward. His speed wasn't as high as before due to his leg wound, but he was still quite fast. Repeating a move from earlier, Topaz sidestepped when he reached Smash and immediately followed with a rising uppercut to the chin.

Trying something different this time, Smash cocked his head back to avoid the punch, but at the same time, crossed his arms over Topaz' arm, stopping his uppercut in the process. He swung both fists outward, attempting to thwack his face on both sides.

Topaz let himself fall backwards to avoid the attack. He managed to balance himself by placing his left hand on the ground behind him, and continued to flip backward while dealing a kick with his unwounded leg.

Smash clenched both fists together and tried to slam his leg back down with enough force to dislocate it.

Smash's attack nearly hit, but Topaz moved fast enough to avoid it. After his flip, he landed firmly on his feet and immediately went into a spin kick.

Keeping his fists together, Smash seemed rather intent on making his attacks backfire by slamming his fists against his leg.

Smash successfully blocked the attack, but did not much else. Seeing his attacks weren't working, Topaz backed off further.

Smash took a single step back, focusing on gathering up his energy and catching his breath as quickly as he could.

Topaz's Dark Jewel form was nearly finished. His grey aura was gone completely, and the black flames had grown dim.
