WT: Topaz The Hedgehog VS Smash The Echidna (Winner: Smash The Echidna)

As they approached, Smash clenched his fists. "Ha...urrgh...URRGHIII!!" He let out a blast of energy, blowing the flames away. He transformed into his high tension state, though his aura was flickering unusually. Smash dashed forward, not quite as fast as before, and threw a hard jab towards his gut.

Similarly to an earlier attempt, Topaz met the punch with a kick. It was the foot which blocked Smash's uppercut before, and the sole took another hit of damage. He stumbled backwards, having successfully blocked the attack though not dealing much damage. Still determined as ever, Topaz countered with a roundhouse kick from the other foot.

Smash took a step back after having his punch blocked. He held up his hand and caught Topaz' leg. He drove his fist into his leg, attempting to puncture it with his spiked gloves.

Topaz cried out in pain, having a gash torn into his calf. He was able to free his leg from Smash's grasp and fell to a kneel, but that didn't stop him.
I don't have enough energy left for a Chaos Heal, but I can't just give up now.
From the ground Topaz threw one more, flame-laced punch towards Smash's gut.

Smash caught the punch with both hands, though they pushed back onto his stomach a bit hard. He felt his hands burning up through his gloves, though the gloves themselves didn't seem to get damaged from the fire. Smash quickly let go of his hands, and attempted to punch both sides of his face with each hand at the same time.

Topaz reacted quickly and ducked the punches. Trying to ignore the pain in his leg, he jumped towards Smash head-first, hoping to knock him down.

Smash fell over onto his back with Topaz on top of him. He tried to kick him off with both of his feet.

Topaz flew off of him and landed on the ground not to far away. His head hung over the edge of the crater he made before as his grey aura began to flicker away. Like Smash before him, he forced himself up, ready for more.

Smash did the same, forcing himself back to his feet. He was still breathing heavily, he might have been pushing himself a bit too far.

You up for more, Smash? Even after this form dies out, I could go for hours.
Topaz clenched his fists. The larger, grey glove on his left hand seemed to quiver with power. He would need to use his full force if he wanted to end it here.
