For once, the group managed to laugh. Luna glanced over at the clock, "Fair enough; it's time for lunch anyway." She giggled. "I'll get started on it."
Meanwhile, Terrence's car parked by the bridge over the small river by a gentle waterfall. The group unloaded out of the car, and Gizmo lead them into the stream. He walked up in front of the waterfall, and reached his hand into it. After a few moments, they heard a clicking sound, and the water slowly began to part. A cave revealed to be behind it. A ramp then extended out from the entrance, allowing them access. "Let's go guys." Gizmo said. "Kitty should already be here."
"Oh is that where he was?" Violet asked, raising an eyebrow. "I was beginning to wonder."
"Yep, he went to gather the chao here to prepare the ship. That should give us a head start." He lead everyone into the cave. Inside was somewhat dark and damp. Lanterns hung from the walls, illuminating the narrow passageway. They stopped in front of a separate passage to their side, which lead up a flight of stairs made of dirt. "Up here." He directed. They walked up the stairs, and soon found themselves in a large, spacious room. The room had fluorescent lights instead of the lanterns, and had actual floors and walls. In the center of the room, was Gizmo's large airship--currently under construction by several chao. Supervising them, was a sky blue cat chao with a red secondary color, and thick eyebrows. Standing on a stack of crates, he watched over the chao and gave out orders. He turned upon noticing their arrival, and smiled.
"Ah, Captain Gizmo! You've made it." The chao spoke with a bit of an accent. Lina was taken by surprise.
"H-He can talk?" She asked.
"Course I can!" He answered, "As the Elder, I need to be able to communicate with more than just Chao, you see?"
Gizmo stepped forward, smiling at the chao. "Elder Katler, How are the modifications going?"
Katler's smile vanished quickly. "Kitty's doing all the technical stuff inside, but the physical work is coming along pretty smoothly. It should be suited for space travel pretty soon if they keep it up. We just need some more attachments to the hull..."
"Right. We're on it!" Splice exclaimed. Gizmo looked at the others and nodded, before they all hurried to the ship to finish up what they had started.
Okay, so I have no idea what we were gonna do with Mike and Diana. So I'm just gonna skip right back to the others for now. We can go back and add onto stuff later. ------------------ Gizmo sat down in front of the main controls at the bridge of his ship. He booted up the main computer, checking the status. "Good, everything seems to be in working order." He stated, pressing a few buttons to test. "Now then," He cracked his knuckles, and pulled a lever. "Main engines on!" The ship began to hum as the engines powered up. "All systems green! Open main hatch, and extend the ramp!" On his command, the wall in front of the ship slowly began to open up, letting daylight shine through. As it did, the rest of the group arrived on the bridge. "Alright..We did it..!" Violet exclaimed excitedly. A ramp extended outward, preparing for their takeoff. "Engine power at 70%.." Splice announced, looking at a console to the side. "80...90...100!" "Chaoo!" Kitty yelled. Gizmo grinned, and the ship slowly began to move forward. "Alright..!" The ship gradually lifted off the ground, and outside the cave. "Blast off!!" The newly modeled spaceship blasted off into the sky. Elder Katler and a set few other chao who stayed behind, waved goodbye before leaving back inside. The ship then headed off towards the city, where they would pick up the rest of their team. | |

| The huge ship was getting a lot of attention from the people in the city as it noisily flew over them. Some were scared, and some were even amazed as they watched it soar into the sky.
