Moonlight Visitor

Percy smirked. It looked like he was going to clap, but the pain in his shoulder stopped him. "V-Very good." he repeated. "I didn't expect that." He held his opposite fist up and it began to glow white. He laid the hand with the white water on his hurt shoulder, and healed himself.

Maybe you could have your characters comment on his healing power? I have an idea.

"Heheheh..!" Jessie was quite proud of herself. She didn't even notice him healing himself. Violet did, however, and was rather surprised.

Crystal was just rushing over to help him, but stopped when she saw that he could do it himself. Her eyes widened in surprise, "You..you can heal yourself..?" She asked, staring at his now healed shoulder.
Krysi looked shocked as well. "Oohhhh..!"

Smash smiled, thinking about a similar skill that he learned a while back. "Well, Great job everyone." He congratulated. "If you're ready, let's move onto the next group. James, Zap, Gizmo and Kitty! You're up next!"

The four walked over, ready to face the challenge. Violet and Jessie gave eachother the thumbs up before walking back with everyone else.

"You three are gonna go up against Daigon. It's gonna be harder this time around, so stay sharp." Smash briefed them quickly. He looked at Percy, who was just walking out of the stream. "Whenever you're ready."

A sweat drop rolled down the side of Zap's face as he scratched the back of his head, sheepishly.

"Alright..Begin!" Smash exclaimed.

Percy started off using more advanced water techniques than before. This time he was faster in bringing out the water to use against them. First, he thrust his left palm forward and a large wave of water gushed out from behind him. Smash's eyes widened, and he stepped farther away from the battlefield to avoid getting splashed. Zap on the other hand, completely ran out of the way.
Gizmo coiled up his legs and made a daring leap into the air. Kitty flew behind him, grabbing his shirt's collar and flapping his wings as hard as he could to boost his height. As James braced himself for the oncoming wave, Gizmo whipped out his Hand Cannon and fired a plasma blast towards Percy. The blast thrust him higher into the air, allowing him to completely avoid the wave.

Mike watched Gizmo in awe. He couldn't imagine that the Gizmo he knew back when they were kids, was fighting like he was one of the most competent people in the group.

The wave splashed down on James, but he stood through it. Percy looked up at the plasma blast. Though he hadn't seen anything quite like it before, he remained confident in his skills. He swung his right arm, slamming it against the plasma blast with a trail of water following behind his arm. The blast was deflected back into the air, flying into the horizon. As Gizmo landed on the ground, Percy had already moved in towards James. He performed a quick spin kick towards his side, which would have knocked the boy over if he hadn't blocked it.
James countered with a punch towards his stomach. Percy quickly deflected the punch with his other hand, but left himself open for another punch coming towards his face. James successfully socked him across the cheek, causing him to back off a step. Kitty came flying towards him, following up with a flying kick to his forehead. The blow hurt almost as much as James' fist, and he had no idea why. It shocked him that a small little creature had it in him to deal a good blow like that.
While he was trying to comprehend what had just happened, Zap jumped in and threw a punch towards his stomach. Percy backed up once again, now clutching his chest.

"V-very good." He complimented. "You've thrown me off balance, both physically and mentally. Keep that up." He said.

Mike was impressed with all of them now, but especially Kitty. He hadn't ever seen a chao take the front-lines in battle before.

Splice stepped forward, wanting to go first. Upon reaching him, Percy unleashed a dangerously quick chain of blows against him. Splice was able to swiftly dodge and parry each one, successfully. As Perseus continued to attack, his accuracy began to increase and Splice began to take a few of the blows head on. He then suddenly whirled around, clasping both hands together, and swung them both over his head and down towards Splice's in an attempt to bash him. Splice, at the same time, slightly crouched and thrust his foot towards Percy's gut. They both took each other's blows hard, and staggered backwards.

As they both regained their composure, Pearl rushed past Splice, and sprung into the air after Percy. He only saw her a few seconds before she nearly slugged him across the face with her foot. He sprung backwards, performing a backflip in mid-air, and landed in front of the stream. Immediately, he began to control the water around him. As Splice caught up with Pearl, they both began to notice that the ground under them appeared to be bubbling. It was then that they remembered his small tidal wave, earlier. "Oh, shoot! Pearl, MOVE!" Splice cried out. The two dove in opposite directions, as a large column of water sprung from the ground where they were standing like a geyser. Just as they got back to their feet, two more blasts of water caught them, and sent them high into the air. They both found themselves trapped at the top of the two springs, bouncing up and down from the force of the water. Percy stood in front of the two geysers he'd produced, still commanding the water.

"Splice! Now what?" Pearl called out. Splice thought quickly, afraid of what might happen if they took too long. His face soon lit up with an idea.
"Just hang tight, okay!?" He called back. He aimed his palms down at the water, as his hands began to glow an icy cyan color. He tried to freeze the water, but with the way it was shooting back at him, it wasn't easy. Eventually, he managed to freeze enough to make a platform, still being pushed up by the spring. Now able to stand, he made a daring leap over to the other geyser where Pearl was. He ended up falling into the center of the fountain of water, and began rising to the top quickly. Pearl tried to look down to see what he was doing, but couldn't see well due to water splashing in her eyes.

Before she knew it, Splice shot out right next to her, and grabbed her arm as he was launched even higher into the air. Pearl gasped, startled, and looked at Splice in confusion. "Pearl, with all your might, I need you to hurl me down at Percy!" He exclaimed.
"..Got it!" She grabbed his other hand, and began to twirl around in mid-air. They began to fall back towards the geyser, and Pearl was now spinning wildly. Finally, at the right moment, she released his hand "GO!" and sent him flying down towards Perseus. Splice began to spindash on his way down, now falling as if someone had shot him out of a cannon. Percy finally looked up when he heard Pearl shout, and gasped. The two geysers fell down to the ground, and he tried to raise his hands to defend himself. Splice crash landed, sending a large cloud of dust and debris flying everywhere. The two were completely hidden from sight. Diana gasped, looking shocked and worried about her brother.

Like before, Crystal arrived just in time to catch Pearl in mid-air. Neither of them said anything, though. They were too focused on what had happened below, wondering if Splice had successfully struck him or not.
When the dust cleared, there was a small crater in the ground. Percy was standing right at the edge of it, still bracing himself with his eyes shut tight. He hadn't a single scratch on him.
Splice, on the other hand, was lying face first in the center of the crater. Everyone moved closer, trying to see what had happened and wondering if they were alright. Splice stayed motionless on the ground, even after Percy opened his eyes to see what had happened. Suddenly, Splice's arm rose up, and he gave the thumbs up to everyone, letting them all know he was alright. Or at least, still alive.

"W-well..." Percy began, slightly shaken up. "I know for sure that would have seriously injured me." He said.
Splice got up from the ground, brushing the dirt and grass off of himself. "I know. That's why I missed." He stated. "And if I added some fire or ice to that? I don't think you'd heal anytime soon."
Percy nodded, trying not to think about it. "Well, I must say that you all work together very well." He said. "You all pass."
