Moonlight Visitor

Back at Smash's house, everyone seemed far less lively now. Their loss was incredibly jarring to them all. It was one thing to lose an important battle, but to nearly lose the lives of two of their own, one of them being Smash; their leader...It was devastating.

Everyone sat in the living room, waiting for Gizmo's father to arrive. "Alright..so who's going with me?" Gizmo asked. "I'll need help preparing the ship. Once it's ready, I'll come back to pick up the others."

Splice was the first to raise his hand. "I'll go." He volunteered. "I'll make sure the job gets done as soon as possible!"

"I'll go as well." Violet added. "And Crystal and Pearl will, too." She shot them both a 'convincing' look.
"I want to go too.." Lina said. "I want to try and do everything I can to help."

"Right. Then it's settled." Gizmo nodded. "Everyone else will have to watch over Percy until we get back."
"But wait..who's going to heal him while I'm gone?" Crystal asked, worriedly. "He was in such bad shape..he needed me to keep doing it just to keep him out of danger.."

"Leave that to me." Luna, who was standing in the kitchen doorway, walked into the living room. "I will take care of him..unless you would like me to take your place, Crystal?" She offered. "After all, I could probably be a rather large help in preparing the ship."

"Um guys? I think he's waking up!" James exclaimed excitedly, as he saw the brown rabbit slowly regaining consciousness.

Both Crystal and Luna ran over to him, and both began to use their individual healing powers on him "Shh! Try not to talk too much.." Luna insisted.
"It's been at least a half an hour." Splice answered. "Smash must be at your place by now."

Gizmo glanced outside, and saw his father's car pulling up in the driveway. "He's here. Let's go guys."

Gizmo turned to look at him, and gave a reassuring smile. "We'll be back to get you. I promise we'll make this work." He said. Percy managed to smile, thankful to have him and everyone else trying to help him save his sister. Splice walked out, giving everyone a thumbs up on the way out. Violet and Pearl began to walk out next, but Crystal stopped halfway out, looking unsure. Luna looked back at her, and gave a friendly smile.

"Go on. I'll take care of him." She said.

Crystal smiled, "Thank you, Mrs. Luna." and gave a slight bow before walking out. Krysi bowed as well before flying out after her, and closing the door behind them.


"Whelp..Looks like it's more waiting for us." Jessie muttered aloud, slumping in the chair nearest to the couch. Luna knelt in front of Percy, checking his wounds. She used a strange device to examine closer, and was somewhat surprised when she saw what the real problem was.
"I see...It's really internal bleeding." She said. "With a mix of blood bending, something inside was severed and the flow of blood was disrupted to a state that's nearly incurable by normal means..that's why our healing was never permanent." She put the device down after her diagnosis, and began to think about how to treat it. "..You sent my husband, Smash, off to your house for the "Proper treatment", right? He was a victim of the blood bending as well. Does that mean that your people know of a cure for the disruption of the blood flow?"

Luna closed her eyes, looking down. It was true that she was upset with the condition her husband was in now, but it was for the better. She looked up at him, smiling slightly. "They told me that your people specialize in water powers..Is that part of your methods?" She inquired further.

"Yes, actually.." Percy said again. "With our control over water, we use it to restore the proper blood flow."

Luna's smile grew; it was just like she was hoping. She held up her hand for him to see, as a small bubble of water about the size of her fist began to form in her palm. "Do you think I could learn this method, too?"

Luna nodded, and followed his instructions. Due to her experience with regular healing, she was able to do it normally without much problem. The small bubble began to glow a bright blue color. "There..!" She began to get slightly excited, learning a new way to heal people and save a life in the process. She slowly placed her hand on his wound, with the water gently flowing inside. She concentrated hard on fully restoring the blood flow, as well as using her regular healing powers with her other hand to patch up the wound afterwards. It was tougher than she'd imagined; she rarely put this much energy into healing a single person.
