Moonlight Visitor

His words struck him sharply. He sat back down, knowing that he was being rational and making the right choice. But he wanted to fight. He wanted to be part of the group who would defeat the people who hurt Diana's family so much. "...alright." He said, quietly.

Smash stood up. "Well, unless anyone has any further questions, shall we?"

Mike's face softened up, and he smiled a little. "Thanks...I won't let you down. I promise." He said.



"Okay, then. Let's go in the order you assigned them, Perseus." Smash said. "Violet and Jessie go first, then Gizmo, James and Zap, then Pearl and Splice." He looked over at Crystal. "And Crystal can step in whenever she feels the need to. After all, that's what she's gonna be doing in the big showdown, right?"

Crystal nodded. "Yeah. I'll be sure to help lots!"

"Alright." Smash looked over at Jessie and Violet, both of who stepped forward. "You're up first." He looked at Percy, "Are you ready?"

Jessie and Violet both nodded. "Right." They said in unison.

"Anything else to know about them?" Violet asked.

Both Jessie's and Violet's eyes lit up, they both knew what they had to do. Violet immediately sprung forward, and swung her arm to knock his away from Jessie. Percy's arm was knocked sideways, flinging drops of water everywhere as the two orbs splattered. He used his other hand to chop at Violet's back, but was quickly blocked off by Jessie's own hand. Violet whirled around and delivered a left hook towards his side. Percy took the blow and backed up a bit. Jessie charged forward and rammed her shoulder into him. He caught her shoulder just before getting hit, and found himself slide back a few inches. He rose his hand, about to slam it into her, but Jessie suddenly whirled around and dealt a spinning roundhouse kick, knocking him back a bit. Violet ran forward to add her own attacks to the mix.

Percy leaped over both of their heads, landing in the stream behind them. The two whirled around to see what he was trying to do. When they saw the water from the stream spin around and rise from the ground, surrounding him in a small whirlwind of water, they knew they were in for some trouble.

"Very good." he congratulated on their previous moves. "But let me see how you fare well against this.."

Smash watched intensely. He had a feeling that this would be their final lesson of the training. He had faith that they could do it, but it looked like this next move would be too powerful for them to handle.

Violet's mind was racing. They already knew it was too late to stop him, but she needed to know how to avoid and counter at just the right moment. The water around Percy began to float in place, he was just about to unleash his attack. "Jessie!" Violet cried out. She ran towards Percy, who thrust his hand towards them both. Jessie quickly ran over to Violet, who turned around and crouched slightly. Violet was holding her hands just above the ground, fingers interlocked. Just as Jessie made it to her, several large blasts of water shot towards them. "GO!" Jessie stepped into her hands, and Violet launched her high above the ground. She did her best to endure the blasts of water from behind her, ending up falling to her knees from them.
Jessie stopped just above Percy's head, and fell down with her foot extended towards his head. Percy looked up just in time, but was too preoccupied with the water attack to defend himself. All he could do was move in time before his head was struck, which made him take the blow to his shoulder. All the water fell to the ground, and he fell to his knees, clutching his shoulder in pain. Jessie landed on her feet in the stream, grinning rather proudly. She put her fists on her hips, "How do ya like THAT?"
