A new trap. It's pretty much self explanatory. Touch that lightning and you get zapped back a step. Because of how it's coded, you always turn the opposite direction you were facing. So, Don't go goofing off around here 'cause you might wind up getting shocked back and forth, taking roughly four times as much damage as you normally would.

I've managed to complete the first major puzzle in the dungeon, which as you may have guessed is shutting down that forcefield. The scrap paper shown in the gif above is just one out of four you need to collect, containing a password for the console that controls the forcefield. Since then, I've been working on aesthetics on what I've got down for the place.

Taking a break from that, here is an unrelated, yet long overdue update.

Updates are slow, but within reason. I've been busy preparing for the next updates video. That includes recording footage. I've been spending all day on recording alone. That comes with fixing up bugs and even adding a new feature along the way. The video looks like it'll probably end up being shorter than the last time, but it's all introducing the new stuff I've only been able to show screenshots of here. (most of it being completely new from the last videos.) There are some things in the video that I haven't posted about here yet, too.

It looks like I'll be able to upload it on schedule at this rate.

For once, I have my video ready ahead of schedule this year. But I'm not going to upload it early: it'll be on the 31st as planned. In the meantime though, I've decided that since I'm putting Field Abilities into action already, it would be a good idea to try and figure out how I'm going to go about the abilities for the other characters. My next few updates will more than likely showcase them if I can get them off the ground before the video.

This isn't too big of an update, but I've taken the time to clean up Splice's field ability so that it works smoother. Here's an example of how using his abilities can solve puzzles.





And for those that are curious, yes you can melt the ice back.

Wow, you've done a lot of work since I last checked in here! Probably the mist productive summer I've seen you have.
