Splice The Hedgehog: RPG Fangame.

Well as long as there's no quality decrease in the game itself, I'm not going to worry about it.

And congrats on completing Splice. The animations are incredibly epic and the sheer amount of moves you've implemented blows my mind.

Camtasia Studio 5 can still export HD videos I think.

Are you sure? Because I didn't see any option for it. I'm pretty sure CS5 came out before they developed the HD video options.

Um, what? What the heck?

So I was going about my merry way, test-playing the game, and I realized that I forgot to make this.


I had every intention of making food obtainable from item TV's, as it's a type of item that's VERY common. But it just slipped my mind.

Speaking of food, I really need to get to balancing that out. 70% of the food you can get are all grossly underpowered. Worst case scenario are things healing less than 80 HP. Yeah. That's no good.

Well now that Splice is out of the way, I think what I'm gonna do is just walk through the game and clean up everything as I go along. There are a lot of things that need to be done. I never actually finished remodeling Splice's house, nor did I finish updating the introduction. On that note, All the scenes still need work. The attack on Greenflower City segment lags the game pretty badly due to all the enemies about. It's very possible to sequence break in the beginning of it, as well.
There are also some sprites that need updating, (*coughtabcough*) and a good majority of the shops need some serious reworking.

I've already fixed up some of the more hindering bugs and balanced some of the battles and items a bit. (although somehow Sonic became ridiculously op and the boss fight with him in your party was basically turned into "just keep Sonic alive and he'll win for you." and I don't know what caused that.)


With all that said, there won't be many "big" updates for a while. I'll post back when I have something interesting to show, but odds are it'll be about as big as the last post I made.


EDIT: and then I took a week-long break. Whelp.

So yeah, I took a break for nearly two weeks to deal with some other stuff, and now I'm ready to get back to this.

I said I would walk through the game and fix up things as I go along. That means I'll be starting with the intro.
But before I could work on the intro, I had to finish Splice's house.

I think that about does it. For now. I still have the basement to deal with, but I think I'd rather save that one for later.

So yeah, That's finally out of the way, and I just finished sprucing up the intro now. So for now, I'mma freely roam Greenflower City and see what comes up before moving on.
