Moonlight Visitor

"Think nothing of it." Smash said. Suddenly, his face lit up. "Oh! Now that we've heard all of this, and you guys already encountered the enemy.." He whipped out a cellphone from his pocket, and held down one of the numbers. "I should call another meeting. Everyone else should be informed."

"Oh, Good idea!" Gizmo agreed. "If we're gonna fight back, and even go so far as to take the battle to them, We're all gonna need to get ready for it!"

"Mmhmm. And that includes finishing Mike's training." Smash said. "In fact I think we should hold off any offensive movements until he's ready." He soon heard the voice of his sister on the other line. "Pearl, I want you to get everyone together. Yep, Another meeting. Oh? Good, then. We'll be over soon. Bye." He hung up. "Well that's that."

Mike closed his eyes, now filled with much more confidence than ever before. 'I'll do whatever it takes...'

Soon, the group was ready to head out. Everyone stepped outside, and looked towards the family car. "Okay. I can take five people in my car." Gizmo's father said. "With me driving that makes four. Who all's riding with me?"

Smash looked over the group. "There's 11 of us. I can only fit one more person on my motorcycle."

Everyone exchanged glances, wondering how they could make it work. Gizmo then walked out from inside, holding a number of things in his arms. "Sorry about the wait. Mike! I've got some stuff for you!"

Mike blinked, and slowly pointed his finger towards his face. "For me?"

"Yeah! Here, look." He bent down and set some of the equipment in his arms on the ground. He then stood up, holding a pair of gloves. "I've got an extra pair of Claw Gloves for you. I used red gloves to match the ones you're wearing." Mike's eyes scanned the gloves with interest before he took them into his hands. "The claws are retractable. Just be careful about when and where you do it."

Mike nodded. "Thanks. I can see these coming in handy." He said.

"And here, I've managed to make an upgraded version of what I liked to call the "Guard Gauntlets"." He held up two steel arm guards, now coated in a sheet of hard diamond. "I gave an older version to Smash before. But these will most definitely help you out. They lock on to your gloves, or your hands if you're not wearing them."

Mike's eyes widened as he stared at the diamond coating, which sparkled in what little light was left of the day. "Whoa...It'd be a shame to get these things scratched." He took the gauntlets, and held them under his arm.

"And lastly, Here. Take these two rings." He held up two, bracelet sized rings. One was red, and had a couple of straps on the sides and a red jewel on the top. The other was a translucent light pinkish color, which seemed to have something flowing inside of it. "I don't think that these would get in the way of your guard gauntlets, but if they do let me know."

Mike stared at them for a bit. "What are they?" He asked.

"Have you ever heard of Elemental Rings?"

Mike nodded slowly. "Yeah..So these are...?"

"Yep. To be specific, this is a "Blaze Ring", the strongest of their fire kinds." He held up the red ring, before placing it in his hand. It felt rather warm. "And this is a "Life Ring". I don't think "Healing" is an element, but this is the strongest of their kind as well." He handed it to Mike, who just stared at it in awe. "They also say that it can protect you from dying, but I don't know."

"Protection from death? Is that possible?" Mike asked, looking up at him in shock.

"Who knows? Probably just advertising gags to get more customers. In any case, they went out of business so I made sure to buy as many rings as I could before they closed down."

"I see...Well, Thanks a lot Gizmo." Mike said, smiling. "Now I really feel prepared."

"Anytime, pal." Gizmo grinned. Kitty soon landed on his shoulder, and tugged on his whisker. "What's up?" He looked at the chao at the corner of his eye, who proceeded to point at everyone else. "Oh. Oh right. We need to get going, that's right. Sorry guys!"

Smash sighed. "It's nothing. Anyway, How are we gonna go about this?"

"I could take all the little ones in my car." Gizmo looked up at his father, "They're small, so we could probably fit someone else back there.

"Okay!" Crystal agreed. She looked at Zap, and looked surprised when he shook his head.

"No thanks..." He said, closing his eyes. Everyone looked at him. "I can make it on my own. Someone else can have my spot."

"On your own? Are you sure?" Diana asked, somewhat worried and surprised at the same time.

Zap nodded, trying to ignore the fact that he was attracting attention towards himself. "Yeah...actually, I should go now so that I won't get left behind." He looked over at Crystal, and the rest of his team. "Bye, I'll see you at Smash's house." Before anyone else could say anything, he ran out of the yard, and took off down the street. He was surprisingly quick, much faster than anyone else in their group.

"Well...That makes ten, then." Smash said.

"Hey, I can go on my own as well." Gizmo said. "In fact, I could probably take someone with me." He bent down towards the equipment he left on the ground, and picked up a mechanical belt like contraption. He strapped it around his waist and over his arms. "I can fly over there with the Magic Wings."

"Magic...wings?" Lina and Diana asked in unison, staring at him curiously.

"Great. Okay I'll take one person, you take another, and everyone else can cram in the back seat of the car. Sound good?" Smash asked.

"Yeah, so long as I'm not the one getting crammed." Jessie remarked.

"In that case, you could ride with me." Smash said. "Who's going with Gizmo?"

Lina rose her hand. "I'll go!" She volunteered. "But first, I wanna see. What do you mean "Magic Wings"? Are they really wings..?"

"Gizmo has wings?" Mike blurted out, seemingly distracted by something before.

Gizmo just laughed. "No, silly! I made artificial wings. Like this:" He flipped a switch on the belt, and held down a button for a couple of seconds. Soon, a pair of bright, translucent, yellow, sparkling wings sprouted out from his back. The sparkles floated majestically towards the ground, vanishing momentarily. Everyone but his father, Smash, Kitty, and Crystal were taken back in shock. "Whaddya think? Not bad, huh?"

"T-t-they're a-actually wings...!" Lina stammered.

"Y-you can fly with those...?" Diana asked, staring in awe.

"Yep!" With a couple of gentle flaps, he rose above the ground. "C'mon, Lina. Let's go!" Lina stared at him for a few seconds, but soon headed over. Gizmo flew behind her, and began to carry her. "Alright, let's go after Zap!"

"Right!" The two of them rose higher into the air, before flying off into the horizon. Kitty hurried after them, calling out to wait for him.

"Great. Now, we've got a few more taken care of." Smash said. "Alright everybody load up!"

Crystal was the first to jump into the back seat. She scooted over to the center of the long chair, as Krysi settled in her lap. Mike then scooted in after her, with Diana right behind him. James came in from the other side, noticing that there was plenty of room. Crystal scooted closer when Gizmo's father closed the door behind James. "You can ride in the front seat, Percy." He said.

"Thank you, Mister...um-"

"Terrence." He answered for him. "You can just call me that."

"Thank you, Terrence." Percy sat down in the front seat, and Terrence made his way over to the driver's seat. Meanwhile Smash and Jessie got comfortable on his motorcycle. After starting up their engines, the two vehicles made their way down the street, with Smash taking the lead.


Soon, everyone made it to Smash's house. By now, it was dark out and the full moon lit up the front yard. Several of Smash's friends were arriving around the same time they did. Pearl held the door open for them all, welcoming them inside.
Everyone made their way into the "Meeting room", like before. Smash waited at the furthest end of the table for everyone to get together.

Sorry..didn't continue. Just wanted to put up a reference to the new character I made. These aren't her real clothes or anything, (furry dollmaker is so annoying with how limited it is, but this is what I wanted her face and hair to look like.) Because of the stress at work, I don't think I'll be able to continue until my day off this sunday.^^'



Rachael, Percy's wife, and second in command to her husband's rebellion. She was Diana's best friend growing up. Smash encounters her when he was sent to Animas. I'm contemplating on whether they should have a couple kids or not, just considering their ages.

It's okay. They meet her when they all go to Animas, later?

You'll see what I've planned out.

Percy made his way down to the other end of the table, opposite to Smash as Lina, Gizmo, Mike, and Diana sat down in their original seats from the last two meetings. Pearl, along with the others who weren't present at Gizmo's earlier began to whisper and give wierd looks at Percy.

After everyone got settled, Smash cleared his throat to get their attention.

So sorry. I've been having trouble getting on lately. And now my mom's laptop is down, so it's just gonna get tougher from here. I'll try to continue as soon as possible.
