Moonlight Visitor

Mike noticed at the corner of his eye, that she looked troubled. He put his hand on her shoulder, and gave her a comforting smile. "Hey, what's the matter?" He asked.

Gizmo looked over his shoulder at the two. "Something wrong?"

"The full moon in the center of a starry sky." Mike added, remembering last night. "I could just stare at them for hours."

Gizmo glanced at the two at the corner of his eye. Heh. Looks like they're getting along just well. He thought. He then looked forward, towards the sunset.

"Yeah...It really is beautiful." Lina agreed, never taking her eyes off the sight.

Gizmo's mind soon began to wander. Standing here, watching the sunset like this...I wonder what Kyla's doing right now...? He sighed softly, a spacey look coming across his face. He slowly looked to his side, and saw the yellow cat standing next to him, smiling warmly.

"Gizmo?" Lina noticed him staring into space, and looked a bit worried. "You okay?"

Suddenly, the cat disappeared as he woke from his daydream. "H-huh?" He stammered, blushing a bit. "O-oh, it's nothing. I was just thinking." He said, looking back at the sunset.

Gizmo folded his arms and closed his eyes. "So you love the moon...but you can't remember what it looks like or why you even like it..." He said. "So, that's the only conclusion I can come up with, as well. That it has something to do with your past." He opened his eyes. "I think I have an idea." He said, unfolding his arms and letting them drop. "Tonight, I'll examine your necklace. I'm gonna try to get as much information as I can from it. Meanwhile, you guys can go out. It won't be a full moon tonight, but it'll be close enough."

"Like killing two birds with one stone, right?" Mike said, smiling slightly.

Gizmo nodded. "Right. What do you think?"

"I think that's a good idea." Mike said.

"Me too." Lina agreed.

Gizmo glanced at Diana. "What about you?"

Gizmo rose his fist in the air. "Alright, then! Let's head back to my house!"

"Yeah!" The three cheered at the same time. They then ran down the hill, and headed south to Gizmo's home.


Once they reached Gizmo's house, Gizmo opened the door for them. The sun had already gone down below the horizon. "Alright, we're here." Gizmo said. He looked at the three. "Are you guys hungry, or do you wanna eat later?" He asked.

(After this, I'd like to have a scene with Smash wondering where they are, then he comes across the black cloaked guy..after Gizmo starts to examine the necklace)

"Now that you mention it, I am pretty hungry." Lina admitted sheepishly, rubbing her stomach.

At that moment, Diana's stomach growled, making her blush. "M-me too."

((I've been itching for another encounter with the "Mysterious Figure"...))

Gizmo scratched the back of his head, laughing a bit. "Alright then. Let's go eat!" He turned around, heading towards the kitchen. "Mooom! We're home!" He called out.



Smash sat outside in his back yard again. He had his eyes closed and his arms folded. Once again, he was training. Something was bothering him again. He wanted to try and focus his energy better, as well as keep his mind at ease. But something was really bothering him. I can't shake that feeling...Something big is coming... He thought. Something dangerous...But what? And when? With the World Tournament coming up...will I be able to stop it? What if it comes after those kids? If I'm not informed, will they be alright? He was feeling anxious. He knew something bad was coming. What's more, Gizmo never contacted me. I'm sure everything's alright, but still...I can't help but feel worried...Maybe I'm just being paranoid, now. Past experiences making me too over protective...Then again, it's all from experience, so who's to say something else isn't happening? He stood up. "Bah...I can't concentrate." He grumbled. He clenched his fists and flexed his muscles, soon whipping his arms to the side. "URRGHII!!" He yelled. He released a blast of energy from his body, letting a sky blue aura flow around him as his fur changed from deep blue to a lime-greenish cyan color. The ground shook a bit as blades of grass flew all throughout the air around him. He let his form die back down, and returned to normal.
