Kyle's nearing completion. I just need to know what sword-skills I should give him now that I've removed most of them. I am removing a huge chunk out of his Magic-Sword skills and adding some more onto his normal sword techniques. But I'm replacing a lot of them. Here's the difference between the skills he used to have and the skills he has.
Jump Slice: Performs multiple somersaults in the air while striking the enemy with sword out. (May or may not replace.)
Sword Beam: Shoots a beam out of the blade. (Replaced with Power Strike: puts all of his strength behind an attack. [pierces defense])
Super Sword Beam: Powered up version of Sword Beam. (Free skill slot)
Sword Thok: Jumps and shoots self forward at the enemy with sword sticking out. (Free Skill Slot)
Multi-Blade Frenzy: Attacks wildly swinging his sword around in a mad frenzy. Attempts to instantly kill an enemy, if not blind them from the bright flash emitting from the attack. (Kept, but updated.)
Mirage Cut: Tricks the enemy and attacks from above. Powerful and 100% chance hit. (Will be kept and updated.)
Hyper Blade: Kyle's ultimate move. Uses all skills learned. Using the 6 elements of the Gemblade in one powerful attack, Hyper Blade neutralizes normally impenetrable barriers. (Kept, but updated.)
There are two other free spaces that I could possibly use for skills, or possibly something else. I need ideas here. I kind of have an idea for two that come from two different games: 1 being Cloud Strife's 'Braver' limit break, and 2 being the well known 'Demon Fang' from the Tales Of series, which could be a sufficient replacement for the Sword beam skill he had.

both great idea, but why not put self-buffing moves that increase attack? i do like the demon fang idea though. that'd be great.

I have an idea for two moves now. One Speedy gave me, the other I got from the idea of giving him Braver. Its a lot more fancy like...Kyle tends to be fancy with his sword skills. XD

Hm..Not really an update, Just something I thought I'd take note of.
While I was doing a test battle, I had Smash use his skill "Gather Power". But All the other times I had used it, it didn't really have much of an effect. I just used it this time for the heck of it.
But when He attacked, (note, Smash had his ultimate weapon equipped and was at level 99, the amount of damage he had been doing was atleast 1,000. At most 2,000.) I was shocked. He did about 6,000 damage with each hit. But when he got weakened, (about 25% of HP or less.) He started doing his normal attack power. When I tried using the skill again, it acted as if I already did it and said "Miss". So I healed him, and he started doing 6,000 damage again.
This was very interesting to me, and I'm gonna be conducting some tests with this. I'm gonna have to find a way to tone it down too, otherwise it will make fights too easy with him.

This is the music for a boss that I plan to make in the game. Or rather, a series of bosses one right after the other.
Okay, I don't know how my brother did it, but I was just lucky this time. He somehow beefed up all the midi's so that they actually sounded Good, and like MP3's almost. So, I atfirst tried to convert the midi file of a Sonic 2 boss remix I had archived from long ago, but that didn't work. So I then decided to record it. Sound Recorder doesn't get good quality, so I used my trusty Wave Pad. That worked just perfectly, and then I mixed the music together with my pal Daz' remix of the same midi from a little while ago. This video is the results.
Okay, Bear with me here. Kyle's near completion and Cymbeline is now a decently playable character. (Meaning you can start and end a battle with her.) I don't have anything else to show yet, 'cause its not all ready. Trust me though, Kyle's gonna be a big update. He's changed a lot. You already got to see a sneak peak of him in the Death Animations, and some screenshots before. Cymbeline will have another status report soon like the last video I showed to Daz and Cymbeline (also known as KissXOHug). But of course that would mean that I'd have to work on Daz some too. Don't worry, I'll have his stuff done soon.
And also, I will be doing a gameplay video soon.

Daz should be happy to know that his character is coming along nicely. I'm currently focusing on him at the moment, and taking a break from Kyle. This is good, I haven't worked on Daz in months. I'm currently updating all of his sprites and animations I had made for him before. Out of 18 animations, 10 have been updated. I have yet to finish his running animations (If I finish one, the second one will be pretty much finished as well, so that counts as 2.) his attacking animations and a few status ailments. (One is actually completely blank, so I need to start fresh on that one. Actually, now that I think about it, I can do that right now. *goes and fixes it*) Once I finish those, I'll be moving onto working on his skills. That should be fun. I'm actually getting kind of excited about working on him.
Daz has also given me some ideas for the story when he was actually just trying to suggest a side quest. Now, Expect Mushroom Island to make an appearance in the game.
(Mushroom Island is Daz' home. Atleast, I think it is. Right?)
As for our other guest, Cymbeline, I haven't worked on her too much since the last time. But I have remade her battle stance. which is really just a regular standing animation. Ahem! I will soon get started on her skills as well. Although I'm not entirely sure what kind of skills she would have. But I'll manage, I'm sure.
And don't think that I've forgotten about Sonic himself! I...er..uuhhh....forgot...about...Sonic...
But don't worry, I'll get back to Sonic soon.
I'll admit, I haven't gotten much of any work done on GFC since I last talked about it. I got stuck at the docks because I'm gonna have to do more major tileset editing. Its nothing I can't handle, its just that I had my hands full with more characters. I can't cram it all into one day's work. What I should have done though was work around it. There are other places that need to be handled besides just the docks.
In anycase, This update is just pretty much showing what I'm currently doing. Just a small portion of what I plan to finish soon. Once I'm finished updating Daz' sprites and made one or two more new skills, and as for Cy', make whatever else I started on with her and didn't finish, I'm gonna do another progress report video of them. Like last time, Comments will be disabled. Its just to show Daz and Angel Wings how their characters are coming along.
Also, SL, Those special effects are far too large for me to even fit in the large Battle Animations. ('Cept for maybe the Fireball.) I'm probably only gonna need a charset for Zatic, rather than all of those other sprites you have for him. I might be able to make the charset myself though.
