Splice The Hedgehog: RPG Fangame.

For the longest time, the Party Switcher has been REALLY bothering me with how grossly outdated it was. So today I found the time to try and update everything. For comparison, here's how it looked back in April 2009.




And here it is now.




There's still a lot left I wanna do. The general layout of the area is fine so I haven't touched that too much. But since this area is more or less part of the Greenflower Region, it should reflect that a bit more. I need to add more flowers, and bring in the trees from GFC or something. As for the characters, I still have to fix Daz, Gizmo, and to lesser extents, Kyle and Crystal. I also removed Team Sonic because they're guest characters, and thus will come and go when they please.

Okay so I've kinda been working in an unorthodox order these days, but I'd like to say that Speedy is pretty much decently playable now. Meaning no reverting to old sprites during the main gameplay. I only need to finish his conditions and begin revamping his skills.

That and I've worked on Pearl a bit, as well. She is very complicated to work with so progress has been slow on her. I fixed up some of her sprites and replaced some others, but she's still got a long way to go.

There really isn't too much to show, since I was mainly just posting to assure that I'm still making progress, somewhat.

I'm probably going to end up sticking to finishing up Speedy for now.

Kind of odd how Pearl has bold, black outlines while Speedy doesn't.

He does in some sprites.

Not really helping the case.

Bold black outlines tend to look odd in general when pared with light, soft colored outlines.
