The Crystal Chronicles

Kyla couldn't help but grin at the pink tint on his cheeks. She motion for a Waiter "Please bring some to go trays and could you make three of your main desserts to go also and add it to the bill?" She asked the Waiter. "Of course ma'am." The Waiter said as he left and soon came back with the to go trays and the desserts before setting down the bill. Kyla pull out her debit card and sat it down on top of the bill before starting to put her left overs in one of the trays for Kitty.

Gizmo couldn't help but lick his lips at the deserts. He started putting his food in another tray, and the rest of his soda in a styrofoam cup with a straw. "This was a great place to come to for dinner." He said.

"Yeah. My favorite place. Just do me a favor and don't come here without me since if it's busy I can get a good table for you just by coming in." Kyla said as she finished and started picking up the trays. The Waiter came back with the debit card and handed it to Kyla. "Thank you" she said taking it and putting it back in her pocket. "Lead the way Gizmo."

Gizmo laughed a little. "Aren't we going to your place first?" He asked as he stood up. Still, he lead the way to her motorbike anyway.

Kyla giggled following close behind them. Once at her motorbike she set the boxes in the bag on the side of the bike. She picked up her helmet and put it on, offering the second helmet to Gizmo. "My place isn't far from here. It will take maybe five minutes at the most to get there." She said getting onto her bike already.

Gizmo hopped on after her. "Heh, I don't doubt it." He chuckled. Though Station Square was in a different city, he knew she'd definitely stay true to her word. He held on firmly, "Ready!" and waited for the ride to begin.

Kyla grinned under her helmet remembering how she forgot to tell him she moved out to this very beach. She started up her motorbike and took off, true to her word they were at her place in five minutes, which was a nice house on the beach with a deck and good view of the water. She left the bike on as she waited for Gizmo to let go so she could get off.

"Wait...this isn't the place I remembered." Gizmo stated, puzzled. He got off the bike and stepped forward. "Did you move out here..?"

Kyla put the parking brake before getting off and stepping beside him. "I decided to move some where that was a bit more..peaceful. I moved here about a month ago." she said heading for the front door.

"Oohh.." Gizmo nodded. "I can understand that. Nice place you picked out, too." He followed after her to the front door.
