Kyla smiled at the Kitty comment. "Yeah you'll have to and I will too. I can't wait to see Kitty again...in fact he might like a friend of mine." she said looking up thankful for the subject change. She still didn't want to face the fact she was an alien anytime soon or that their is someone out there trying to kill her.

"Heheh.." Gizmo chuckled lightly. "Kitty's always up for making new friends. I'm sure he'll love to meet em."

"I hope so. I kind of left her at home ^^; she didn't want to come to the motor race. I'll have to stop back by my place to pick her up" Kyla said taking another bite of her food with a grin. She hadn't told Gizmo about how she got a certain something as a gift a month or so ago and she didn't plan to ruin the surprise either.

"Ah, I see." Gizmo took a sip from his soda. "I'm pretty sure Kitty'll be home by the time we get back." He assured.

Kyla thought for a moment while sipping her smoothie "Then we can stop by my place and pick her up before heading back to your place." She said setting some of her food aside now for Kitty. She looked over at the water smiling at the beautiful view.

"Sounds like a plan!" Gizmo agreed. He followed her gaze and glanced over towards the water with her. With the gentle sounds of the waves and the scenic positioning of the setting sun just above the water, he couldn't help but smile.

Kyla couldn't help but smile. She became nervous though when she decided to gently touch Gizmo's hand with hers. "I'm really lucky to have a friend like him...I really am..." she thought to herself still looking at the water.

Gizmo looked up at her, slightly blushing and a bit surprised. He got really nervous as well. He didn't say anything, though, and just tried to keep a smile on for her.

After a few moments like that Kyla finally removed her hand from his. "Well if you are ready we can go now" she tried to keep from blushing or sounding awkward.

Gizmo looked back at her, still smiling a little, but with a visible pink tint to his cheeks. "Oh..I'm ready whenever you are." He replied.
