The Powers Collide

"Oh, cool," Whiteburst said as he stared in awe at the Star Wolf. Then, he looked in the direction of where Solaris was barking. He stood up quickly as he tilted his ears to the empty space to find out if he could hear anything. And he did, a very faint flutter of small wings.

Instantly he smacked the source of the fluttering to find a small animal falling down from where it once was flying. It landed with a soft thud on the grass below.

He knelt down to study the creature. It looked like a fox but with wings and much, much smaller than a normal fox. It's entire body was the size of Whiteburst's head.

"Who and what are you," Whiteburst whispered as he peered at the creature's wings. They were of mass complexity. The paper-thin tissue that surrounded the vains. The perimeter made of a strong material, and the colors; they were quiescent. Blues, yellows and reds folded onto each other making a shimmery glow occur in the sunlight.

This was a very interesting animal.
