Shadows (RE)Creation

To me it always seemed like Gerald made a deal with the devil to create a weapon of mass destruction. Well, according to the game Shadow the Hedgehog that came out in like 2005/2006. Was the storyline of Sonic Heroes connected to Shadow the Hedgehog? Because I know that it takes place after the events of Sonic Adventure 2 Battle because he was remade like an android after Rouge found him in some container.

I haven't played Shadow the Hedgehog (and currently have no intention to) but, from what I understand, Sonic Heroes does indeed connect to Shadow the Hedgehog.

For the most part it was good, the cussing and shadow having guns was a very unneeded factor. I thought the storyline was pretty good though.
