Compared to the people he was up against when he said that? No. Basically all he's got is his ability to mimic a super form.

It's always fun to shove a normal guy into a place armed to the teeth with super abilities. Even more fun when they manage to hand out the ownage to guys much stronger than they are. Which seems to be what Smash does. xD

Although after looking in the Serious RolePlay section, I see that only one has been updated in...nearly a month. How would I join it(those)?

You just perfectly described what happened after that quote. After the guy pretty much insulted him ("Don't you have any powers? If not, then fighting me is suicide." of course that's going to offend him. >_>; ) He beat the crap outta him.

Eh, I don't know if I'd advise you to join the Mystery of Skull Cross. It'd be hard to fit you in there, as that's strictly related to the backstories of many. It's complicated. As for the Wrath from Beyond, We're actually waiting on more people, so it shouldn't be too hard to join that. Just wait for a good moment to jump in.

Ugh...I'm really trying to create a personality for Eclipse that doesn't mirror Shadow's too much. The Chaos powers have a good explanation, and you and I have already talked about his backstory (Made by a group seperate from Gerald Robotnik and was not a sucess), but the personality itself seems too close.

Razzle Frazzle. Fortunately Eclipse has little in the way of arrogance, but you get the picture. It's annoying, because I honestly like using moderately dark and angstish characters. Later down the line Eclipse's personality shores up considerably and almost completely eliminates the "Shadow problem", but my head is about to explode from trying to fix his starting personality without scrapping his character.

I know the feeling. I've worked hard to fix up my characters. Looking back I still can't believe how I've managed to fix them all. It really does require hard work. But when it gets this bad, It really is frustrating. Unfortunately I don't have much of any advice to give on that matter.

I suppose I'll work on my character sheet to distract myself. I intend to make it serious: the stats really will "Level up" as I roleplay and fight people. I suppose I'm addicted to that kind of thing.

I suppose the best way to get rid of the problem will be roleplaying. As he is forced to interact with others, his personality will begin to define itself. Much more so when Inferno gets into the picture.
