"Love?" Kyla grinned. She pulled out her bike keys as they got outside."Even if I go too fast for you? " She asked picking up the helmets off the back of the bike.

"Hey. After going 300 miles per-hour after you crashed, Nothing's too fast for me." He joked. He followed beside her and put his helmet on.

"I still can't believe you did that...came all that way when you saw I had crashed." She said with a soft smile as she got on her bike and put her helmet on. Motioning for him to get on behind her.

He sat down behind her. "Yeah...I can hardly believe it either." He rubbed the back of his helmet. "I was afraid I wouldn't make it in time..."

"But you did..and that is all that matters.." She started up the bike and listen to it for a second before putting the kick stand up. "Hold on tight." She said as she took off.

Gizmo smiled, and held onto her shoulders. He looked over her shoulder as she began to drive down the road. His mind began to drift back onto the earlier events of that day. That feeling he got when he saw her crash..when he heard her cries of agony...And that cat with the fake emerald. That was the first time he ever felt a burning hatred for anyone. The only one who got close enough to that were chao hunters, whom he still hates with a passion. He tried to push the thoughts of the two subjects out of his mind. This was supposed to be a happy time; he hadn't seen Kyla in months. He wanted to make the best of the time they had together now.

Kyla for once was focused on driving, her mind earlier as well. Worried that if she goes to the next rice in a few days it might cost her life. She sighed deeply as her mind shifted to how glad she was to see Gizmo and how as soon as the pain was gone from earlier she wanted nothing more than to hug him and never let go.

Suddenly, it hit him. Where exactly were they going to go to eat? He didn't think of that, and now he was embarrassed that he didn't. He didn't want to go to Jalapeno Palace, because his parents were there. And he would be so embarrassed if they ran into eachother that he wouldn't even be able to keep a straight face, let alone speak coherent words. "So...uhh...got any ideas on where we're gonna go?" He asked, sheepishly.

"Huh? Oh..Oh right, I have a few places in mind. How about this place out on the beach? It's a sea food place." Keeping her eyes on the road snapping out of her thoughts.

Gizmo's eyes widened. "Seafood at the beach?" He couldn't help but think of a fancy outdoor restaurant, complete with a perfect view of the sunset, specially made for dates. Imagining him and Kyla together there made him blush so hard, he could almost feel steam coming out his ears. Then he imagined how much the bill be. "Well...I do like seafood." He said, trying to contain his embarrassment. "Let's give it a try."
