Sinu Origin Story

Prologue-Beginnings
This is the story of a young demon. Most think of the underworld when they imagine... demons... but what most don't know is that they sometimes stumble upon gateways to our dimension. They come in and claim land of their own. However, very few have survived for longer than a year before being sent back to the underworld. However... there are demons whom are very intellegent. One such demon is Cynthera. She met the mortal whom called himself Anubis. The two eventually had a child who they named Sinu. Anubis then created 4 other demons using energy from the underworld, whom he each called Helios, Bellaluna, Henvan, and Susala. Sinu was small when Anubis decided to conquer the world. So she couldn't help him. However, by the time she was 8, with vigorous training, she could finally be useful. This is her story... You may think of he as evil for helping her father... but she was just a child. Can you really blame her? Don't worry... she now longer idolizes her father... She has seen the truth of him. Now hear her story... and decide for yourself.

Chapter 1-First Mission Part 1


Sinu was finally experienced enough in combat to be useful to her father. She idolized him. He was strong and powerful. Something her natural demon nature craved for. To reach that level of power and respect. While he was harsh, her mother always said it was for her own good and because he was helping her become as strong as him so she could inherit the throne of their empire. Sinu believed her mother... she was so kind to her after all. She also knew she was lucky to be living in the mortal dimension because most demons were born in the underworld. She had the priveliege of being born in this dimension. She entered the throne room of the castle that her father had built long before he met Cynthera. She bowed to her father respectfully and said "Father you summoned me?". "Yes. You may rise. I have a mission for you" Anubis said strongly and added "You're first". "What is it?" Sinu asked, standing straight up. "You're mission is simple. To steal the chestplate of a wealthy noble. The chestplate is all that matter out of the armor set as it is made of Minervanite. Your mission is to retrieve this chestpiece undamaged and return with it in the same condition. Susala shall accompany you to ensure a successful mission" Anubis said, giving her the details of the mission. "Understood. When do I begin?" Sinu asked. "Immediatly. The noble will be auctioning it off soon" Cynthera said, sitting in a smaller throne. "Alright. I shall return once I have it" Sinu said, bowing and leaving.

She immediatly headed for her older brother Susala's room. She say the black fox with yellow eyes leave the room. What made him stand out was that he had not just a yellow eye color, the whites of his eyes and pupils were yellow as well. "Brother. We have a mission" Sinu said. "Yes. I know. Father informed me this morning. Shall we get going?" Susala said, crushing a red crystal which spawned a red portal. Sinu, witnessing this, asked "Where does the portal lead to..." she stopped, not wanting to know. She could hear the roars and growls of feral creatures and the heat of the desert coming from it. "The underworld. It will be your first time through here. I'm certian mother and father have informed you of the Demon Lords so I shall spare you the details of that. The reason we come through here to get to distant places is because Time moves at a much faster pace there. As a result, once we reach our destination, mere minutes will have passed here" Susala explained.

"Really?" Sinu asked. "Yes. Now come. We must go" Susala said, stepping through the portal. Sinu followed suit and did the same. The portal then closed, leaving no trace of it's exsistence behind. Inside the underworld, it was an odd sight. The entire ground consisted of nothing but ice. But this very exsistence was contradicted with the fact that there were pools of lava here and there, that should've extremely easily melted the ice. The sky itself was crimson red with a sun that was black as a moonless night. The wind blew ash into the air, which made sight limited... for mortals at least. This was a mere illusion. Demons, even half demons such as herself, could see perfectly through it. They trekked through the icy, hot, land. Demons didn't bother them, as they apparently feared Susala. Soon Susala stopped. He pulled out another red crystal and crushed it, opening another portal.

This time the portal was still red, but it had a moderate temperature coming from it and only birds chirping. Sometimes a bear roared. Susala stepped through and sinu followed. They were back in the mortal dimension but in a forested area. "What are those crystals?" Sinu asked. "They are called Hell Crystals. They allow travel to and from the underworld. They can be found here but are rare. They are very common there" Susala answered. They continued on to the city and entered. The entrance sign said Nicrontol. As they walked Sinu noticed that most of the population was poor barely surviving. "Poor people... they look so hungry" Sinu commented, pitying the people there. "Don't worry about it. They are just food to us. Besides, they eat something different than us" Susala coldly said. Sinu took Susala's advice and ignored the occassional plea for help. Soon they found one house that looked rather fancy.

"This must be the place. It looks better than the rest" Sinu said. "Indeed... now listen here's what we shall do. You shall first go in as a mouse... then when you find it, get to the nearest window, turn normal, break it open, and give off the signal. Then I launch an assault on the opposite side of the place while you grab the chestpiece and make a run for the mountians" Susala said, telling her of the plan "Wait for my return. We shall venture back through the underworld together".
