Wrath from Beyond

Kyle looked up at the ax forming above. "Hm. He has already begun to get flustered." He muttered to himself. He then glared directly towards Helios, and charged towards him with his sword readied. He thrust his sword towards him quickly, attempting to stab him in the chest.

SageHelios: Gack!!! *Hit, the axe stops forming, faints from the pain*
Sinu: *The ice shatters, lands and sways a bit* Grrrrrrrrrrrr... Helios always was afraid of me...

Kyle withdrew his sword from Helios' chest, letting him fall to the ground. He swiftly swiped his sword to the side, flinging the blood off to the ground before returning it to it's sheath. "It may have been his fear that lead him to his quick defeat." He suggested.

"Are you alright, Sinu?" Keela asked, looking slightly worried.

Sinu: yeah... I've been through worse. Trust me. *shakes moisture off of her* Anyway, let's continue on. *Continues on*

As they pressed onward, Smash took the lead this time, with Kyle still in the back. They both were a lot more cautious now, knowing that there would be more dangers along the way.

Sinu:.... (thinking: It's quite... far too quiet...)

The same thing was bothering Smash. Ever since they beat, and possibly killed Helios, The only sounds he heard were their own footsteps and breathing.

???: *Suddenly from some lava pits around them, fish men-like creatures jump out of the lava screeching very loudly*
Sinu: An ambush! *Immediatly attacks one, easily overpowering it*
Fishmen1: *Runs at smash, claws ready*
Fishmen2: *Runs at Keela*

"I knew it!" Smash exclaimed while slugging one across the face. He turned to the one running at him, and threw a straight, powerful punch towards it's face. The impact could easily break it's face in.

Keela drew her bow, and shot the fish demon in the face. She quickly readied her bow with another arrow.
Kyle drew his sword and stayed close to Keela, making sure that none would get too close to her.

Fishmen: *Start backing up, screeching threateningly, they sometimes make a swipe at them, but apparently know that sheer numbers won't help them*
Sinu: *Stabs the chest of the fishmen she attacked, stands and walks over, the Fishmen suddenly flee back into the lava pits* Hmph... don't worry. They're all cowards. Once one of their members go down, the rest flee.
