Roleplay Discussion and Rules

The roleplays have been separated. A subforum for the random RP's with no
real set rules or light rules, and a subforum for the more serious
roleplays that are stricter with the rules and allow no randomness
within them. This should keep the people leading the serious RP's happy,
and let everyone else know that there are some RP's that just aren't
meant to be random or wrecked.

So, What's gonna happen HERE?

That's a good question.

This particular area is not for roleplays, but to discuss roleplays
themselves. You may discuss ideas, make preparations, etc. for a
roleplay you want to do. It could also be easier to gather people to
join your roleplay here before making a thread about it, and leave out
most of the join requests of the actual roleplay thread itself. I
personally would expect this area to be used for the Serious Roleplays
only, but there is no restriction against talking about the random
roleplays here.


Speaking of which, the random roleplays and
the serious roleplays should be separated strictly. Do Not post
randomness or break any rules of the particular Serious Roleplay. -1 Warning Point (If done excessively.)
(And yes, I'm implementing Warning points now.) It is okay to turn a Random roleplay into a Serious one. or the other
way around. If it does change from one to the other, there is no real
need to move it from one section to the other. But if you create a
Random Roleplay in the Serious section, or vice versa, it will be moved
to its proper location.

Ahem *puts on a tie an a serious face *but now for more serious matters.

Maybe it's just me but the roleplaying here seems pretty stagnant (heck even SFW is stagnant). Maybe if we make a big roleplay more people will be active and we'll have more visitors.

Problem is, everything's been done before and I have writers block.

Any ideas?

First reply to a thread made well over a year ago. Don't know whether that's impressive or just plain sad.


In any case, That was part of my plan. Well, Mine and Kapus', that is. Except, we were going to make a huge roleplay AFTER people came. We were hoping that we could invite people over in time for the summer, but that didn't really work out. Right now all that's going on in the roleplay section are two RP's by the same two people; one being private. And that's about it.


Unfortunately, I don't have many ideas right now.

You should go ahead and invite SFW people here. The site cleanup is pretty much done.

That's the thing. I tried. But it didn't work out, nobody noticed. I could try again though, but people still feel on edge about the recent events this month...

Did you try telling them on chat? Most people on SFW only seem to be on chat nowadays.

Actually no, I haven't. I kinda find it disrespectful to go and advertise on the chat. =/ But I could at least direct them to the blog I made.

As long as you're not interrupting a big conversation or spamming it in any way, it's all good. Gotta advertise somewhere..!

I have a few ideas, I guess. But that depends on if anyone's gonna roleplay.
