Site Cleanup

A lot of those global announcements should probably be taken down. They're old and not really relevant anymore, so they don't need to be stickied.

Also, I'm thinking the gallery should be moved out of Fan Fiction.

I figured we'd have to take them down anyway. Spring cleaning and all.

I'm not sure why the site didn't have an activated calendar before, but I went ahead and added one. It needs an icon, though, so feel free to make one.

I had just looked at the calendar recently, but I didn't add it. I guess I'll go dealing with it.

Okay so to be honest, I had wanted to put up the calendar so I could try and have an easy way to keep track of all my FC's birthdays. But I felt that using it here would be a little..well, I dunno. But I didn't. It's at times like these when I kind of wish Hedgehog Cafe was still intact.

But now that the calendar's activated, I should start putting up some calendar events. I know I'm probably gonna put up things like the Blitz Pit tournaments and whatnot. I'm up for suggestions on what to put up. Aside from holidays, what do you all think is worth turning into an event?

I could probably go ahead and put everyone's FC's birthdays up too, but I'd rather wait and see what everyone has to say about it.

FC birthdays being on the calendar would be confusing and cluttering because member birthdays are already listed there.

That's why I didn't put mine up, really. Though there are ways to get around that problem.

You still wanna keep the "other websites" forum? Nobody really uses it.

To be honest, I was thinking of trashing the whole "Affiliated Sites" section. If I did that, then the Other Websites forum would be totally barren. So we can just get rid of the whole thing.
