Forgive my error of this, it's actually three, but regarding the
characters, maybe over 5.
First there's the RM2K version which it originally started and
wasn't even known as D-Type yet;
R-Force: RPG Battle Network was it's original title until Luke decided that the name was a
little cheesy and selected a more stout name for the project.
Next, THAT is when D-Type was started, it was originally as
R-Force 2: The Second Mission, and that is still it's alternative
name.
THIS part is where things get split into episodes, known as
Chronicles of each main protagonist character caught in a
dream.
The 1st of it is Luke's story (Renamed himself as Ruk Spyroyin.
Translate the 1st part of his name from Japanese romanji to
understand that his name is actually still "Luke".)
The 2nd Chronicle is of my part as Etna from Disgaea. I started
a project of my own the 1st time we've heard about RM2K, but
dropped it in confusion for a while. This one gets resurrected for
the RM2K3 system, but I work alone in this chronicle for a while...
The 3rd and newest Chronicle in the works, but is on hold is
of a certain Melty Blood guest I've been encountered by in my
dreams recently and is related to me. Due to an incident of
some corrupt force going about, she almost dies and all of her
friends and rivals are turned against her by completely losing
contentiousness and are under control of that very corrupt force
itself. My character is in an attempt to save her and it works
but with a disastrous consequence; therefore, the original girl
(who I was) exchanges her soul in such a process, and thus it's
now up to White Len to save all the Tsukihime Crew by defeating
their corrupt versions, as well of everyone else, or die trying.........
(which she does NOT!
)
-Since it's actually ME as Shiroi-Ren there, expect her wildly
Out-of-Character; gun usage, multi-weapons use, throwing nukes,
piloting the R-9A "Arrow Head" from R-Type, eccentric lines, etc.
The 4th, but not yet ready Chronicle will be based of my favorite
CS2 character here, who also appeared in R-Force I as a persistent
boss that is unlockable if going for the good ending.
D-Type: Chronicles of Duel is the WinMugen version when we get
our characters completed, and maybe a demo may be released when
the created-by-hard-hand data may suffice. Not much to say about
this one, but the same character from the 4th Chronicle will be the
main heroine of this one as well, though other characters WILL
certainly be there as well.
There's not much to say about R-Force III, as it's going to be
for the PS2, somehow...
