What do you think of Fan games?

I think most are stupid.

Well Excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuse me! I for one am MAKING a fangame, thank you very much!

It depends. Not many are good, that is true. It takes a lot of skill and knowledge of the characters to make a good fangame.

I mean SOME. You know I have hopes for yours and I can't wait to play it.
Also Some level designs are lame and can be short so it depends how good you are.
Of course I'm not talking of 1st try Fan Games though cus those are more practice games.

Every 9 out of 10 fangames are CRAP.

Everyone 1 out of 1,000,000 games are decent.

I just noticed where this was. This has nothing to do with online games. Moving to Fangames forum.

You people are right: most fangames aren't worth looking at. Of course, I still have hopes for yours, Smash!

I'm also trying to learn how to make an RPG game, but it's on hold currently.

Apparently, From what I've seen, (and heard) My fangames are some of the rare ones that actually have effort put in them. I'm honestly shocked, but in a way, not surprised at all. Most of the fangames I've seen out there ARE crap worthy. Its quite sad.
