Wrath of the Geomancer

Tailsess: *Using a portable solar-powered, hi-grade fan to keep herself cool* If I didn't have this i'd probably have to travel during the night... Which probably wouldn't be a good idea.

Terrador

The rock dome crumbled to sand and the hybrid emerged from it. He let out a mighty yawn as he stretched his limbs. He then wandered aimlessly to see if his assumptions were correct. He was unaware of this treasure of high value nor was he aware it was closer than he thought.

Dawn

The wolfbat neared the mountain. It looked pretty secluded and he hadn't seen civilization for quite some time. Even then, it wasn't wise for him to be out at dark.

"This treasure better be easy to find." he pouted to himself taking off full speed to reach his destination quicker.

Tailsess: *notices the sun is getting close to setting* Hmmmmmm... better set up camp... *stops, sets backpack on the ground, pulls some sort of mini-rods out of her backpack*

Terrador

The Geomancer soon found himself at the base of the mountain. He had not been this far down since his seclusion that fateful day five long years ago.

"Perhaps I am mistaken." He thought outloud. He was lying to himself however and he remained where he was.

Dawn

The crossbreed gramaced at the blackening sky. He had just stepped foot near the base of the mountain.

"Crap! I thought I had more time. For two years I've been able to conceal my curse. I just hope this place is as deserted as it looks." He muttrered under his breath.

Tailsess: *presses a button, and what appears to be plastic forms a tent, she steps inside and begins setting up a generator and sleeping area*

Terrador

As he began to make his way up the mountainside, a sudden power that was slowly increasing alerted him.

"What's going on here?" He londered as he pursued it.

Dawn

A stinging pain formed in his chest. He dropped to his knees and clentched his chest. Grunts of pain could be heard emerging from him.

"Dammit! I was stupid to leave home." He said through tbe grunts. He was truely regretting his actions right now and was hoping nothing catostrophic would come out of this. It wouldn't be long until his inner beast was unleashed and ready to feed on any unsuspecting victims.

Tailsess: *Goes outside and sets up some area's with UV lights pointing in directions towards the mountian, setting up a camera in the same direction* Hopefully those UV lights will help the X-Ray peirce the rocks... if rumors are true, then it won't work... but it's worth a try. *Goes inside and begins setting up a computer so she can see what the X-Ray camera is seeing*

Terrador

He grew rather curious about what was cuasing this spike in power. He heard grunts in the background and traced down the noises. He soon found a stranger going under some sort of transformation. This was when he realized he was in way over his head with this individual. The Geomancer was a fearless warrior and he did not back down even in the face of death. He assumed a fighting stance and prepared himself for anything.

Dawn

Long and shaggy jet black fur covered his entire body. His glowing red eyes stared down at the brown badger-mole who would soon be his first meal in two years. He arched his body back and raised his dark grey fur muzzle to the sky. He let out a high-pitched howl that echoed through the mountainside. He snarled at his victim before dashing at him with blistering blistering soeed.

Tailsess: What the? *hears the sound, turns towards it* What was that?

Terrador

He was cuaght off guard by the scorching speed. Four slash markings formed on his chest before he can even blink. Quickly retalitating, he formed rocks at his attacker's feet and sent him away with a hefty push. He knew he must discard his ego and flee at this moment. He made his way up the mountain ignoring the wound. He didn't know he was heading towards Tailsess

Dawn

As he was sent flying from his prey's attack, he quickly broke free but lost sight of him. His formidable smell woukd be his asset. His muzzle lifted up and he smelt the surrounding area. It wouldn't be long until he was on the move.
