The Crystal Chronicles

Kyla laughed and tried to keep Sunshine hidden from Kitty's view. "I missed you too Kitty..in fact I have someone for you to meet." She said trying to contain her laughing. "Chao cha.." could be heard behind Kyla.

Kitty's ears perked up, and he backed away from Kyla a bit to give her some room. "Mew?" He stared at Kyla curiously, knowing that there was a chao behind her back.

Sunshine flew up out of Kyla's hands and landed on her head. A bit smaller than Kitty in size but still an angel chao nonetheless. "Chao? o.o" She stared at Kitty as if it's her first time seeing another chao. Kyla couldn't help but grin as she gently took Sunshine off her head "This is Sunshine Kitty. Sunshine this is Kitty. I found her on the beach" she said gently scratching Sunshine's head. "Chooooo <3"

Kitty smiled. "Haii!" He waved to Sunshine. "Oh! Meoow chao." He turned to look at the other chao behind them, who was slightly bigger than both of them. "Chad, Mreow chao."
The other cat chao flew over, cleared his throat, and spoke up. "Ahem. Chao-ko. Rreow meow Katler."

Gizmo looked over at him, and then back at Kyla. "Ah yes, This is Kitty's dad, Elder Katler. He runs the Cat Chao Garden, where Kitty had his family reunion."

"I don't remember Kitty being able to talk before Gizmo. In fact I didn't know chaos could talk r say words like hi. I've never heard Sunshine speak a word before though I'm beginning to learn what she is saying" Kyla said before looking at Katler. "Nice to meet you Katler." she added. "Chao cho cha chao ^.^" Kyla giggled before saying "She said nice to meet you both."

"Ah, yeah." Gizmo scratched his head. "See, Kitty could always say people's names and stuff just fine, but he always spoke his own language. I guess it can kinda confuse some people, but hey." He looked over at Katler. "Now he, on the other hand, This guy can talk."

Katler nodded. "Indeed. I've had to learn english so that I could communicate with everyone aside from chao." He said, in a slightly funny accent. He grinned slightly, waiting to see their reactions.

Kyla stared at Katler with her jaw dropped and eyes wide. Sunshine stared for a long moment at Katler before making a sound that sounds like clearing her throat. She opens her mouth but nothing comes out, starts to frown before hopping down from Kyla. "I..can't believe it...Oh. My. God. You can really talk!" Kyla exclaimed still shocked meanwhile Sunshine seems to be looking for something now and even tugs on Gizmo's tail.

Katler and Kitty both laughed. "It wasn't easy, learning this." Katler admitted. "But being the garden elder really pushes you to do it." He looked over at Gizmo. "Though I have to give the boy here credit for helping me out. Can't thank him enough for all he's done for us."

Gizmo looked down at Sunshine tugging at his tail, and playfully swished it around back and forth.

"Gizmo is a great guy..." Kyla says with a smile on her face. She moved closer and picks up Sunshine. Sunshine made what looked like a pout face before looking at Kitty and Katler now curious about them again.

Gizmo blushed slightly, and scratched the back of his head with a sheepish grin. "Aw hey, you guys.."

"Well, it's very nice to meet you both." Katler said. "Kitty had invited me over after our little party, but I guess we weren't the only ones out having a good time." He rose an eyebrow at Kyla and Gizmo, with a grin that only made Gizmo's face redder.
