The Crystal Chronicles

Sunshine dropped into the basket right beside Kitty, looking excited for the ride. Kyla handed Gizmo a helmet as she put hers on, she got onto the bike and started it. It roared to life as she looked at Gizmo with a grin.

Kitty gave a quick glance in her direction, before standing up and holding onto the front of the basket, looking at the road.
Gizmo strapped the helmet onto his head, and grinned back. "Ready when you are!"

Sunshine just managed to grab hold of the basket next to Kitty as Kyla took off at a good speed. She about fell into Kitty but managed to stay in her spot as Kyla focused on driving. Kitty and Sunshine were getting a pretty good view from the basket of the road and everything around.

(If I didn't know better, I'd say you were focusing more on Kitty and Sunshine than Gizmo and Kyla. )

Kitty, being somewhat used to such speeds, kept a good grip on the edge of the basket. Gizmo hung on firmly to Kyla's shoulders, looking around the area. The beach wasn't too far away, so he was expecting another quick ride. But he wanted to enjoy it while it lasted.

Indeed it was quick as soon enough Kyla pulled up in front of her beach house. She smiled liking the feeling of sharing one of her passions with Gizmo. She half wondered if she could get him to ride with her more before pulling the bike into the large garage. Full of different kinds of bikes.

Gizmo stepped off the bike, taking off his helmet and tucking it under his arm. "That was fun." He said with a smile. He then looked around the room, noticing all her other bikes in the garage. He recognized a few of them from before.
Kitty rose up out of the basket, and then yawned and stretched in mid-air.

Kyla went and turned on a more brighter light to help get rid of any of the shadows in the garage. She took out her keys and unlocked the door. "I'm sure you know a lot of these." She said with a smile as Sunshine quickly got out of the basket and joined Kyla. "Can I offer you something to drink?"

Gizmo nodded as he stopped to admire one he remembered seeing her race with. "Yeah, I do." He said. He turned around as Kitty landed on his shoulder. "Um, just some water, please." He asked. "Thanks."

Kyla smiled as she went inside which lead directly to the kitchen, Sunshine following rather quickly behind her as if in a rush suddenly. Several of the newer bikes that look like they haven't been used in a race yet some how have a chao on them in a place as if she plans to make that her new mascot. After several minutes she doesn't return even though she was just going to get him a water. It was awfully quiet all the sudden almost like something wasn't right.

((Finally I continue..I plan to continue this more. I have to admit I've missed our rps Smash. I will continue the adventures at sea at a later date after we've talked. That and I think I can only handle one of these right now))

Gizmo was a bit caught up in looking at her display of bikes. He could only imagine how much work she put into them. The chao insignias on them made it feel like she designed the bikes specifically with him and Kitty in mind, which made him feel a bit happy, in an embarrassing way.
His gaze soon ended at the last bike in line, just as Kitty began tapping his shoulder. "Hm?"
"Chaooo...?" Kitty murmured questioningly.
"Uhh.." Gizmo glanced at the door Kyla went through. "...Now that you mention it, she's been gone for a little while now." His ear twitched a couple of times, "I don't hear anything either." He and Kitty exchanged glances at the corners of their eyes, both wearing worried expressions. "Do you think...?" His voice lowered to a whisper. Kitty nodded.

Gizmo and Kitty opened the door, soon finding themselves in the kitchen.
