Kyla couldn't help but smile as she gently squeezed Gizmo as she hugged him back. "It isn't that easy to get me..I'll use some of my money to get bodyguards and someone who can keep out for that cat rider. So don't worry. I'll even go to my private summer home no one knows about." she said hoping to at least make him feel easy.

"Alright. That sounds like a plan." Gizmo said. He then pulled away, "As for us...Kitty and I, we'll be ready." He clenched his fist, the confidence returning to his face. "I want to make sure that there'll be no way for him to crystalize you. Even if it does mean I'll have to fight him...We'll be ready."

Sunshine then just flew up to Kyla's shoulder. "How in the world are you going to do that if Kyla is going on her air board challenge?" she asked Gizmo as she nuzzled Kyla's cheek. "Don't think she should just put everything on hold, it be better for her to do the things she wants and loves instead of hiding in fear." Kyla gently petted Sunshine and she thought about what was said.

Gizmo shook his head. "I'm not saying that we should stop her." He said. "I don't want to keep her from doing what she wants. All I said is that we'll be ready. I'm going to work on a secret weapon to foil his plans. We can watch over her if we need to, just in case that slimeball tries to attack before it's done." His eyebrows shot up suddenly. "Oh! That reminds me." He turned around and walked over to his desk, shuffling around in one of the drawers for something. He then took out a wrist-watch,
"Here. This is a little something that I've been working on." Gizmo said, handing it to her. "It's not entirely done yet, but it's functional. Push this button on the side here whenever you need me."

Kyla put it on as she smiled "Alright. It's not bad either, you are always making cool new things Gizmo." she said before setting down Sunshine. Sunshine looked over at Kitty before finally going over to him. Studying him curiously "I've never seen a chao before other than me..."

Gizmo smiled. "Thanks." He turned back and walked over to the desk. Picking up a screw driver, he twirled it around in his fingers and looked back at her. "I'm gonna give it my all in this next one!"

Kitty gave her a look of surprised curiosity. "Chao?" (Really?)

Kyla couldn't help but grin at him. "We shall see...just don't overwork yourself Giz...." she said as on the inside she was still worried about him, worried about many things in fact.

Sunshine nodded "Yeah..I'm the last chao on my planet why I got sent to Kyla for a warning sort of."

Gizmo shook his head. "Don't worry, I'll be just fine." He reassured with a smile.

"Ooh..." Kitty nodded understandingly.

"Ahem.." Elder Katler cleared his throat. "I'm sorry to leave early, but I really must be getting back home, now." He announced.

Kyla looked at Elder Katler and couldn't help but walk over to him. She gently picked him up and Kitty. Hugging them both close "It was a pleasure to meet you." she said before putting Katler down and picking up Sunshine to hold next to Kitty.

The two returned the hug with a smile. "Pleasure to meet you too, Miss Kyla. Take care everyone." He turned and headed up the staircase, leading out the basement.

Gizmo and Kitty waved goodbye as he left. Gizmo then looked at Kyla, "So..What are you going to do now?" He asked. "Do you want me to ride with you back home?"
