Purging the Galaxa Virus

This is a roleplay I've been planning for a long time. There were some contraversies with having it on Sonic Fanon Wiki, so I figured this would be just as good. The plot is simple. Sonic has once again become Hyde Sonic, a beastly form with no sense of reason, and a hunger for carnage. G.U.N has rallied up the Chaotix and all of the available heroes of Mobius to stop him. Read the "Things Change" section of this page for more details on Hyde Sonic.

There's something you should no before joining. This roleplay takes place about 30 years prior to my fanon, which is equivilant to about 20 years after the main canon. I would appreciate it if you could base your characters around that. With all that out of the way, enjoy the RP!

So, basically for most of us it's 20 years in the future?

Basically, yeah. That's why I couldn't do it on SFW. You're the only person here who I've already established connections with, so it shouldn't be much of a problem. Actually, now that I think about it, it should only matter if Sonic among other canon characters are present/known of in ones fanon. If not, then I think it would be fine to add characters from any era.

Well, I'm a bit strict with my series, so either this would have to happen 20 years in the future for me or just be non-canon all the way.

20 years in the future would mean that Smash would be...42 years old. Gosh. I'd have to consider all the changes that would take place, like the children of my characters, what they're all doing these days, how they're living, etc. This is something that'll really occupy my mind.

I don't want it to be too much trouble for you. In fact, considering the fact that our characters have interacted on SFW, it would probably be easier on you to put it 30 years in the past as well. Making it non-canon is also a very decent option. Do whatever you want.

It is canon to my series, though, so it would be best to let me handle the big decisions. I'll let anyone else who joins know that as well.

It's not too much trouble. But if the timelines become too confusing, I'll just have it as non-canon for my series.
