Wrath from Beyond

The smaller of the two males was the chaos user in this battle, while the female and blue echidna used physical techniques. The lime green hedgehog smirked to himself; the studious one called Helios would be easy to take on physically. One well-placed suprise attack should do it. Charging up for a chaos ability could give his position away before his move could be made, so Eclipse opted for his favored melee combo, Death Chaser. Rocketing from cover with considerable speed, he hit Helios straight in the face and the kinetic force launched him into the air. Pursuing with a jump, the green hedgehog crashed into the scrawny male with a powerful knee to the gut, then sent him back to the ground by swinging his elbow around on the back of his head. Helios hit the ground hard flat on his back, before his attacker finished by coming back down and smashing his body deep into the ground with a devastating kick.

That should put him out of comission. Eclipse though to himself. He knealt next to the fallen male and roughly pulled him out of the small crater, heaving him over his shoulder. He would have to leave the area before searching the body for the chaos emerald, or either of the other two would likely stop him.

(Oh, I'm sorry. I've gotten used to the style of roleplaying another group of people I play with use. Basically you make a post detailing your attacks, usually assuming they are sucessful. Should your opponent block, they change your previous post so that the attacks were dodged/deflected. I posted the attack as a sucess because I'm not sure how I would roleplay Eclipse only half completing his attack. Spike can feel free to post with an evasion, shield, or other form of defense and cancel the rest of my post.)

((Well, you could say how the attack would go if it were successful, but generally when you say stuff like the opponent fell flat on his back/face or whatever, it's already happened. And you can only edit other people's posts when you're a moderator, and as you can see I'm the only staff member RP'ing.))

(Well, I wasn't very clear on that. You don't EDIT their post, but your next post describes how you defended, and therefore how the assault actually went down. It didn't make too much sense to me when I first started, but then I found that a battle exchange took only two posts, while most styles take more than that.

But that's just the thing: It's easy to describe how an attack WOULD go if undefended against when using script format like what Spike is doing. As of yet I cannot figure out how to do the same in story format.)

((It's fine. Helios is a wimp at close quarters anyway so really there was no way eclipse could've missed... unless he tripped on a rock or something. Also, i myself use the style eclipse is describing, though a bit different. I put something at the beginning that usually says "if the attack connects" so that the other people do have a chance to react without stretching out an attack for 4-5 posts))


Helios: *some time after that, starts to stir*

Smash whirled around to look at Eclipse. "Who the heck are you!?" He exclaimed.

Bellaluna: *Unfurls wings and attempts to jab smash in the back with a wing*

Smash was knocked into a kneeling position. He quickly spun around to sweep kick Bellaluna and bring her to the ground with him.

Bellaluna: *Falls down, preemptively shapeshifts her body to steel, her phone starts to go off*... would you mind if i got that?
