Cymbeline had her head down as memories of the Clone came back to her. When she remembered the last time she saw the Clone, crying for Cymbeline to let her live. She looked up at the sky and her eyes watered a bit. But before she covered her face to prevent the tears from coming, Her ears perked up as they picked up a strange sound. "what the...?" Cymbeline stood on the branch and looked around frantically. "That sound...its familiar.." She thought and random vague memories of her being in a lab came back to her. The sudden flashbacks overwhelmed Cymbeline and caused her to have a headache. When she took a step back, Cy slipped and fell down on the ground. "Kyah!" she cried out when she landed. Cy struggled to stand and leaned against a tree. Cymbeline's eyes slightly widened when she realized the strange sound was gone. "...it stopped.." she said to herself and turned to look at Splice. The hedgehog seemed like he wanted some time alone which made Cymbeline hesitate to go over. However, it was important to figure out what Cy was wondering. "H-hey Splice...?" she asked once she managed to make it over to him. "S-Sorry to bother you..but did you hear a strange sound..?"

Tab looked down at the ground in disappointment. "Looks like we've hit a dead end here.."
After hearing Marina's suggestion, her face brightened a little.
"Cymbeline seems to be a bit scarred from the incident, but we have little choice. Lets ask her."

Smash looked at Marina, then at Tab, then shook his head. "No..I've asked her all that I could, the info that I gave you is mostly based off of what she told me." He sighed. "But we could ask her again, just in case. We have no other leads."

Splice looked up at her. He looked like someone just shot his dog. "..I don't think so..." He said softly. "I did hear you fall, though...Are you alright?"

Seeing the way he looked at her compared to how he usually did when everything was alright in the past made gave Cy an overwhelming feeling of despair. Her throat felt dry all of the sudden and her eyes watered a little. "S-Sort of.." she replied, her voice breaking a little. When she was about to say something else, she heard the door of the main house open. Cymbeline kept looking at Splice and didn't say anything else. "..."

Splice stared at her for a few moments then looked down. "...Is it...is it really true? What happened to Cy..?" Splice asked, finding it hard to speak.

Smash walked outside and headed over to Cymbeline. When he saw her in front of Splice, he stopped and gave them a signal to halt. "We probably shouldn't interrupt them.." He said.

A strange feeling of anger took over Cymbeline. The thought of him caring for someone else the way he did for the clone caused her to speak without thinking. "Splice, I'm Cymbeline!" she leaned down and grabbed his shoulders to make him look at her "That other girl you met was just a clone with fake memories and personality. ! " she said coldly.

Shade walked over there, butting into the conversation.
"Isn't it the other way around, Cymbals?"

Smash facepalmed at the fact that Shade didn't listen to him and walked over there. "Actually, She's right. The other one was indeed a fake." He corrected him. "The real Cymbeline is right here infront of us."

Splice stared at Cymbeline, then looked at Smash. "..Wait..hold on.." He held the side of his head with one of his hands. "How long...How long have we been with the..fake Cy?"

Splice stared blankly at no one in particular.

"So, in other words," Violet spoke up, trying to piece everything together. "the Cymbeline we knew was a fake, but she was a good person. The real Cymbeline was sealed inside of her and was just released and is here right now, as real as can be. But the fake one was the one Splice fell in love with, so what about the real one?" She looked at Smash, who nodded, and then back at Splice. Splice was still staring blankly.

"...I...I..." He held his head with both hands, seemingly in pain. "I don't know..what to believe anymore...I don't know what to think..everything's so out of place...happening all at once..." His voice started breaking up. "Why...Why did this happen..." He looked up at Smash, almost ready to burst into tears. "Smash, what do we do!? What do I do..? I'm so confused..."

Smash opened his mouth to speak, but no words came out. He looked down and frowned with his eyes closed. "I...don't know...Our main objective for now is to find those guys and beat the crap outta them!" He clenched his fists. "I won't stand for this..But we have no where to begin...No leads that would get us closer to finding out who, what, and where they are..." He opened his eyes and looked at Cymbeline. "That's why I came out here. I was hoping that we could ask you for your help again. If you had any more knowledge about these people that would help us. As you can see, we're desperately grasping here. And some of us really can't take it anymore."

Gizmo looked at Cymbeline. "If there is something they might have, like a specific power source of some sort, Chaos Energy for example, I could create a device that could track it and lead us to them."
