Favorite character?

Whose your favorite Sonic character? I always liked Knuckles. Even though he was ruined in the current games, I still like him.

I generally like Eggman's robots as a whole, but I'd have to say Metal Sonic is my favourite. All of his incarnations are just so awsome. It's unfortunate that his most recent staring roles have been garbage. Gamma is definitely a close second. *sniff*

I really like Rouge. She's sexy, she's a jewel thief, and she's not so..immature or too cute like Amy and Cream. And I know Kapus and Smash don't like him, but I really like Shadow. The Shadow that was on Space Colony Ark, not the one that magically appeared again.

Outside of the Sonic games and stuff, I like Cosmo. She's the second girl character in Sonic that isn't too overbearing and stuff.

Well in Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow was alright. I could stand him. They just went overboard with him in other games. (being the only one who knew what was really going on in Sonic 06, getting his own game, etc.)

Yeah. When he got his own game I was so excited...but then it was such a disappointment..Why would Sega in their right mind get the Sonic Characters to cuss and have guns and stuff? My childhood was shot down.-_-

I know, right? I already didn't like the looks of it the moment I saw it. Now, it's just laughable to me. I don't like how they screwed with his story like that. I mean when they made Black Doom his father. Why would Gerald swap some kind of deal with an alien like that? A gigantic MONSTROUS alien like that!? It didn't make any sense!

Oh boy, here I go again. I'm not going to sit here and defend the game to death, but I have to say that it's far from as bad as people say it was. First of all, about the story. What would you do if you were in Gerald's situation? His granddaughter was dying, and he was desperate. Secondly, the gameplay was good. Better than it's been in a while, at least. I think it's one of the better 3D games, and that's my opinion. Not because of story, not because of maturity, but because it was fun.

Well, I know that she was dying, but I had thought that they already had that story down before Shadow The Hedgehog.

They did, but Shadow the Hedgehog closed some holes. In SA2, they established that Maria had NIDS, and that Shadow was created to test 'ultimate life' or immortality, in simpler terms. In Shadow the Hedgehog, they explained that Doom was how Gerald was able to create the ultimate life. He had to have something to work with, and Doom's DNA was just that.
